A brief history of time:
Sundog Solutions Consulting was created in 2006 in honor of the passing of the famous Minger Dawg. Her photo is in our logo. When helping an organization move through change I always remember what the Minger Dawg taught me.
• Patience – you may want it now, others may see it differently depending on their own values.
Go slow to go fast – Ming was a chow/sheepdog and she may not have the speed of a greyhound, however she always reached her goal.
Wag more and bark less –Look at things from what we can accomplish versus we have done wrong. This is a great catalyst for change.

About dee waluk-johnson:

DeeI am an organizational consultant and training develope
r known for bringing humor, integrity, straight talk and systemic thinking in support of changing environments. Most recently I’ve been engaged in the public sector with the State of Washington, developed new Human Resources certification programs for Evergreen State College and was even honored with facilitating workshops for Seeds of Compassion, in conjunction with the Dalai Lama’s visit. My work experience includes working as an organizational change consultant, human resources manager, business partner, and training and development manager/facilitator.

Some of the past programs I’ve developed were on leadership, human resources management, understanding and managing change, communications, and effectively utilizing human capital and several global programs created with outcomes focused on linking cultures and promoting organizational alignment across diverse countries. My programs have been featured in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Germany, China, Taiwan and Malaysia, as well as in the U.S.

My passion is building strong and effective teams, while supporting personal growth. I have developed a keen understanding and ability to identity the systemic patterns, values, and beliefs that inhibit goal achievement – where clients get “stuck.” My ultimate reward is to provide assistance to my clients and client systems in understanding and balancing goals and motivators.

Residing in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade Mountains with my husband, my love is to “hang out with the pack” (the playful dogs, Taj, Kali, Zen, and Maeve) for relaxation. In addition to the pack, I serve on the board of directors for The Grey Muzzle Organization. My education includes a BA in Telecommunications and I have completed coursework towards a Master’s in Applied Behavioral Sciences, Coaching and Counseling Organizations, at Bastyr University/LIOS (Leadership Institute of Seattle).

A side note…
What is a Sundog?

In scientific terms, a sundog is an atmospheric natural phenomenon that occurs when ice particles in the sky reflect or refract light creating a solar halo or rainbow around the sun.

In Native American lore a sundog is also called a “whirling rainbow.” It is a time where all nations equally come together and use their talents for change. This is a great metaphor of my own values.

However your values relate to a sundog, the common themes of nature, phenomena and change makes Sundog Solutions Consulting your service.
